MR 2.1/2.2 Construction Waste Management Intent: Divert debris from landfill disposal. Redirect recyclable resources to the manufacturing process or appropriate sites.
MR 3.3 ** Resource Re-Use 30% Intent: Use salvaged, refurbished or used furniture to reduce the demand for virgin materials and reduce waste.
MR 4.1 Recycled Content 10% (post-consumer + ½ pre-consumer) Intent: Increase demand for building products that incorporate recycled content materials.
MR 4.2 Recycled Content 20% (post-consumer + ½ pre-consumer) Intent: Increase demand for building products that incorporate recycled content materials.
MR 5.1 Regional Materials Intent: Increase demand for products within the region and reducing the environmental impacts of transportation. Includes projects with-in 500 miles of Albany, NY (includes NYC, Boston, Philadelphia, Piscataway, NJ)
EQ 4.5 Low Emitting Materials/ Systems Furniture & Seating Intent: Reduce quantity of indoor air contaminates by specifying systems furniture that have been manufactured, refurbished or refinished within 1 year that meet air LEED air quality guidelines.
EQ 8.1 Daylight & Views (daylight 75% of spaces) Intent: Provide the building occupants with a connection between the indoor spaces and the outdoors with daylight and views for the regularly occupied areas.
MR 8.2 Daylight & Views (daylight 90% of spaces) Intent: Provide the building occupants with a connection between the indoor spaces and the outdoors with daylight and views for the regularly occupied areas.
MR 8.3 Daylight & Views (daylight 90% of seated spaces) Intent: Provide the building occupants with a connection between the indoor spaces and the outdoors with daylight and views for the regularly occupied areas.
Innovation in Design Intent: Provide an opportunity for design teams & projects for exceptional performance above the LEED rating system and/or categories not specifically addressed by the rating system.
