Remanufacturing Industries Council Announces Davies Office as one of the Finalists for Remanufacturing ACE Awards

Last modified: 12/06/2018

The Remanufacturing Industries Council (RIC) announced the finalists the 2018 Remanufacturing ACE Awards. Nominations for these prestigious awards were accepted for individuals or companies in three categories, based on RIC’s mission to Advocate, Collaborate, and Educate on behalf of the remanufacturing industry. William (Bill) Davies is one of the finalists in the Educate category.

  • Advocate: This category looks at how the nominee promotes remanufacturing or sustainability in business, government, education or other field.
  • Collaborate: This category looks at how the nominee works with other companies, regulatory bodies and lawmakers to build consensus and teamwork in order to promote remanufacturing and other sustainable practices.
  • Educate: This category looks at how the nominee demonstrates a passion toward educating others on the benefits of remanufacturing and sustainability.

Three finalists are chosen for each category by a panel of remanufacturing leaders and representatives from the RIC Remanufacturing Association Alliance. Finalists for each category include:

Advocate
Mark Branum, CEO at America’s Remanufacturing Company
John T. Disharoon, Director, Market Access at Caterpillar Inc.
Donald Olson, Head of Special Customer Operations at Nokia

Collaborate
Paul Adamson, CRO at America’s Remanufacturing Company
Donald Chenevert, Jr., Deputy General Council, SRC Holdings Corporation
William Schofield, President at Advanced Electrical & Motor Controls Inc.

Educate

William Davies, Vice President at Davies Office
Dr. Matthew Hudson, Dean of Technical Education at Ozarks Technical Community College

Winners for each category will be announced on Sept. 19, 2018, at the RIC-RIT World Remanufacturing Conference in Rochester, New York. Three scholarships, one in honor of each winner, will be established to encourage future industry leaders to become more engaged with remanufacturing before graduation.
